I sit on the wooden bench in the dome
After sitting for a while on the foam
Waiting for my son to wake up after a long rest
Knowing that to go with flow is best
I will attest
That turbulence not created is best!

The grim chagrin
As I gaze deep in horror at his behavior I see my own reflected in it
My ego, writhing and hissing would overtake my Self in self satisfied smugness
Smirked when the embers of impulses of evolutionary fire smoked within
But today I saw it's ugly face and viewed to battle the ego

The Spider weaving in the Rain
Here I stand cold, shivering, drenched in disbelief
The car, that ran into the puddle of reality, did not stop
I blinked, through the tears of regret, trying to make out the make and model,
That car was Time,
Oblivious, it's driver Destiny texting awkwardly as it sped across our lives
Why was I on this side if the road, still
I wiped the mud off my watch which was also supposed to keep Time
And noticed with a sinking sensation
That I was late
To teach him what had wanted to
I was too late to arm him with mental shields and swords
In his quest, not on the video game
But in Life
I had tried like the spider in the rain
To weave my silk of teachings to help him with a snack on his great life adventure
But the rain was brutal unforgiving, and I kept at it and I will keep at it, even though there is no time left.
Only the Master of Time can
Only the Lord of the Worlds can
'He says "Be!"
And it is'
I prostrate myself before the Lord Of Love
"The Infinitely Compassionate , the All-Merciful
Guide me on the straight Path
Those who have received your bounty
Not the ones who received your Wrath
And not the ones who lost their Way"

The fleeting winds of time
In silent awe of the passage of time
The river of life gushing blindly onwards
Oblivious to our nostalgia, pleasure and pain
Indifferent to our loss or gain
Caring not whether there's sunshine or rain
Grabs you by the lions mane
Stares you in the eyes and says
Rejoice, pray and thank
For it will be gone!
روزها گر رفت گو رو باک نیست
تو بمان ای آنک چون تو پاک نیست
If the days pass by, tell them, go on then, no fear
Stay with me, the One to whom none compares in Purity

Yearly Post 2010
I was pondering sorta sleepy sorta awake this morning and felt these words:
"As I crouch huddled in the alley of fear, on the sidewalk of loneliness, clanging menacing footsteps approach, what will they bring: friend or foe? "
Seems like I blog once a year on this particular blog and a lot more on my others :-)
"Time is creeping up on us and passed us by -- waving in the cold finality , while hope is panting, sweating even, trying hard to catch up and smile."
"Regrets of bold and impulsive actions past, meander in my settled mind, i wonder how i changed the course of my life, our lives, for the better or for worse?"
Create then whoever you may be, I am the Lord of the verse said he, and I'll lead you on, into the wilderness of thought; the "thicket of thought" as Rumi puts it.
I stand and sit and wait in a state of suspension, poised anticipation of what the next few hours will bring. Take action, engage, but the result? No one knows: 'you have control over action alone, never over the fruits of action' Therefore engage in action with no thought of its fruit, engage in purity, invoke the Divine, keep to the Middle Way and follow the Path , the Dao within to discover the world without.
For after all that is said and done, we are all one, and aside is none, we have fun, we have tears, we express our innermost fears, to the ones we hold dear, but time rolls on and the golden globe rises in the east yet again and a new day begins, Hope with the incorporeal etheric mist , materializes and we draw on the Divine for Mercy and Blessing.
May you create every day; may you make joyous your loved ones every day, may you get closer to the Divine in You every day, may you be established in the unshakeable very day, spread the blessings, spread the peace.

The Deer that Ran into Us
Inside the car was fuming with negativity, a whirlpool for entropy, then the poor deer ran into the side of the car. Sometimes you just gotta fight to get positivity out there, because if you are strong -- even if you do not know it -- you will materialize your desires and if they are the wrong ones or negative ones, then stand back, cause it gets ugly.
Seems the most important thing is the balancing of rest and activity; deep rest and experience of the Self.
Tomorrow I give the Software Architecture students their exam that I gave the questions to in class today.
Think they'll do well? Yeah, I think so.

Snow Flurries and SOA
With a new laptop, thins are faster and work is getting done faster. This is good. Tools enable your productivity and boost morale.
Worked on the various ways to realize an SOA; patterns for SOA realization.
Jaren Diamond's book Collapse seems a good read.
The attitude we have in conversing with others reflects our mood, our state of awareness. The more tired we are the more myopic and tend to press people's buttons by being insensitive: answering a question truthfully is good; but can loose sight of the whole. A holistic individual is one that sees the context of the question being asked and reads into it the tacit and implicit message of the inquirer. The response to the question is then more than that: it addresses the implicit request of the inquirer while addressing the question itself.
"The greatest enemy of a man is misunderstanding", as my Grandfather says.

Sometimes it's hard to create because we are caught up in day-to-day activities that often touch the lives of others and in many cases, those we love and care for. Thus, creation in this context is to create a new relationship or a new dimension to an existing relationship. This is often based on responsibility and doing, not just what we want, but what is right and good for our loved ones. Creation is to pull together energies to shape something new from a combination of creative forces stemming from Creative Intelligence. This again, is through the Grace of God.
Thus, cultivate the subtle and take your awareness to the subtler layers of your consciousness, to the Home of all the Laws of Nature, your Inner Being.

The Order of the Dragon
One of the first principles of the "Order of the Dragon" is to create something "every day". A creation of something everyday... some good something constructive, something expressing the realizations one has had during the day. Often this is the result of years of piecmeal pondering, for a few flashes of intution and inspiration every time, until one day, usually with some very personal event, it all comes together. This is often through Grace.
